You may know that for the past 2 years, my co-author Luc Olivier Bauer and I have been working on a book. It is about the history of Semiconductor Technology. It starts in the late 1950’s and goes through the remainder of the decade, with an epilogue
that takes us up to the present day. We tried to cover the daunting technical issues that had to be solved to allow the state of the art to progress from one transistor to 10 Billion that is now the norm for modern integrated circuits like the Apple 12X processor.
We tell stories about the people and companies as well as technology issues. We focused on nine companies that we were involved with or were most significant in the Microchip Revolution: Fairchild, Hughes, Intersil, Eurosil, Intel, AMD, IDT, Cypress and Micron.
Our book, The Microchip Revolution, A Brief History is now available to purchase on Amazon in either e-book or paperback. Here is the link: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B08GCYX4LF.
We sincerely believe that you will enjoy the stories we relate. And if you do, please tell your friends, and give us a favorable review on Amazon.
